Our Company
The family business Dominik was founded in 1957. During the over 65 years of our existence, we have developed from a nursery to an internationally established company. We are one of the biggest and most efficient plant distributors in Germany.
Our company has always stayed true to its roots as a nursery. Even today, most of the plants sold by us are from our own production. On our production space of 25 ha are 52,000 m2 of glass greenhouses and 19,000 m2 of foiled greenhouses. Not only do we produce our own plants on our land, but we cultivate bought plants as well, for instance licensed roses.
We are also active as a wholesaler and as a mail order business for cut flowers and plants. We produce individual assortments of plants and Advent floristry for special buys for our wholesale clients. Another focal point of our production is the cut flower delivery. We have dispatched over 10 million flower bouquets which were ordered through TÜV certified online shops and sent by our gifting service Rapido. Not only do we send flower bouquets, but other floristic products and gift articles as well. Our mail order service works closely with well-known companies like Floraprima, Gartenprima and Amazon. We commission and dispatch plants and other gardening equipment ordered through these shops.
Our main offices and production facilities are in the Westphalian Hörstel, but we have two subsidiaries in Poland and Hungary in which we produce as well.
